About The Society of Women Engineers The Society of Women Engineers is a national nonprofit educational and service organization incorporated in 1952 whose membership consists of men and women dedicated to the advancement of women in the engineering profession. SWE offers many membership benefits including opportunities for women through: Career Guidance and Continuing Development.
